Remember when "modern rock" and "alternative" rock were interchangable, and the universe of great well-known bands and songs was endless and diverse. Not anymore (check Billboard Modern rock charts for proof). However, if you like melodic modern rock, here are some new & old tracks you may have never heard. Or maybe you have. But if this blog introduces only one person to even one great song they've never heard before, it will have served it's purpose.
For some reason, this song reminds me of that old "I'd Like To Teach The World" Coke commercial from the early '70's. Arty and melodic, if not the socially-relevant anthem it sounds like it should be.
